We are currently seeking Process Engineer Interns. Knowledge of Auto CAD and lean-manufacturing tendencies are a plus. This Intern position will begin in September 2008 and go through December 2008. We would like the interns to work 40 hrs a week but we are flexible with schedules.

We are looking to fill an internship position in our Safety Department. The position will last the duration of the spring semester - approximately May 2009. Candidates are expected to have good computer skills and any experience with AutoCAD (developing & maintaining drawings) would be a plus. A qualified candidate will have experience or documented education in the area of OSHA/MIOSHA regulations, as well as EPA and DEQ reporting requirements. We practice and believe in Lean Manufacturing; therefore knowledge in this area is preferred. An individual best suited for the internship should prove to be detail-oriented, focused, tactful, and confident.

We are eager to fill a Welder position in the Machine Shop. Qualified candidates would be able to perform skilled welding work in the fabrication and repair of aluminum components. The individual selected for this position will use acetylene and electrical equipment in the fabricating, heating, welding, cutting, and brazing of ferrous and non-ferrous metals in accordance with standard trade practices. Welding assignments are accompanied by blueprints, sketches, and oral instructions indicating the type of material and component. Experience in the welding of aluminum is a must.
